Helping to keep the Philadelphia communities thriving, a non-profit organization has stepped up to find an end to chronic homelessness. For over 30 years, Project HOME has empowered individuals to help end poverty and homelessness through an array of services, enabling everyone to live to their fullest potential.

Project HOME was founded in 1989 and has since grown to become a leader in providing comprehensive and effective services to those experiencing homelessness. Through an array of assistive services, education, and advocacy, they're able to create a safe environment and community, one person at a time.

Ending the Cycle of Poverty & Homelessness

The goal at Project HOME is providing effective and compassionate assistance to those who need it the most. They plan to put an end to poverty and homelessness in the Philly area, using their knowledge in this arena, as well as services that prove to work:Project Home LogoAffordable Housing - Project HOME proudly provides supportive housing programs that provide permanent, subsidized housing for families and individuals.

  • Healthcare - From affordable wellness and dental programs to behavioral health and personal recovery services, this nonprofit makes sure everyone has the healthcare they need.
  • Education & Employment - The Adult Learning and Workforce Development Program offers computer classes, job readiness workshops, life skills, and career training to help further education and gain employment.
  • Teen & Youth Programs - Project HOME also proudly helps young adults to give them a jump start on a successful future. They provide technology labs and after-school programs, as well as assistance with finding a job and college access.

    Spreading the Word

Project HomeOne of the most important aspects of Project HOME is advocacy. By spreading the word about their cause, they not only are able to receive more help, but can also educate our area on this very important issue. They do this by holding events and providing resources.

They also work with coalitions on the city, state, and national levels to help make impactful changes. You can support these efforts by becoming an advocate yourself. By becoming an ally of Project HOME, you can spread the word with them to ensure everyone has a voice.
